How time slips away----45 years ago Joe's guidance and friendship was appreciated by me as I worked with him at the restaurant. I have always felt his warm and happy way of life as an inspiring affect on me.

I had the privilege of working with Joe and the Meyers family for several years at Meyers. One of the first things Joe ever said to me was when a drinking glass broke (on my first day) that he was going to take it out of my pay. I thought he was serious. I quickly grew to appreciate Joe's sense of humor, and I always enjoyed getting to talk with him. Many prayers for your family.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing, my heart goes out to his family. I have fond memories of him as he was my student's bus driver two years ago. His kind and gentle spirit will be greatly missed!
