Today would have been my grandfather's 100th birthday. He is greatly missed by his friends and family.

We are members of Calvary Moravian Church, and have known Joe for quite some time. We always enjoyed talking to Joe about WW11,sports or just about anything. He possessed a wealth of knowledge. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Joe's family.

Joe was my supervisor before he retired in 1983. He was very knowledgeable and very pleasant person to work with. After his retirement we maintained in touch and managed to visit each other on a few occasions. Joe always remembered my birthday as it coincided with his experience at Pearl Harbor, and I always congratulated their (Sue and Joe) birthday because I liked them both very much. I regret that I did not have time to visit him recently, but the fact that his family were looking after him made me comfortable that he is being well taken cared. My condolences go to Joe's family and friends, and my prayer goes with him, wishing him a place in haven along with Sue.

Joe and Sue Moore treated me like a nephew growing up. I knew them from Calvary Church where my dad was the pastor. I once interviewed them about WWII for a high school project, and I still have that old tape. I pray the Lord's peace for family and friends, and that they would take hold of the eternal life found in Jesus Christ the Savior.
