Joseph Pio Obituary
Joseph V. Pio, 77, of Macungie, formerly of Fairview, N.J., died July 2, 2007 in New Seasons, Allentown. He was the husband of Elizabeth A. (Yohe) Pio, they were married for 57 years last September. He was a tool and dye maker for 37 years at Singer-Kearfott Division in Wayne, N.J. until retiring. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Baptiste and Julia (Zucca) Pio. He was an Air Force Reservist. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Mary Beth Pio of Caroga Park, Calif. Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, at 11 a.m. at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown. Calling hour will be held on Friday, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements by J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown.
