Joseph Rusenko Obituary

Joseph J. Rusenko, 74, of Schnecksville , went home to be with his Lord on December 24, 2023. He was the loving companion of Judie Pocze . Born in Wilkes-Barre he was the son of the late Joseph and Alexandria (Danish) Rusenko.

He worked as an engineer at RCA, Agere Sytems and in the mental health field for the last 15 years at the Lodge, Hope House and Recovery Partnership. He was a member of Faith Church in Trexlertown. He enjoyed target shooting, birding, boating, fishing and photography. His greatest joy, however, was giving out pass it on cards, Jesus Calling daily devotionals and bibles to the many people whose lives he touched. His faith was the most important thing in his life and guided all his actions. He will be sorely missed by his many, many friends. He was a friend of Bill W and a big supporter of the Allentown Rescue Mission.

So sad to hear of Joseph's death! He had a difficult life but will have life eternal! I loved him once. I still use the Bible he gave me in 1999. Until we meet again my friend

Joseph always had a bright smile whenever he saw me and was generous with his spirituality. I will miss his infectious enthusiasm for life.
