Joseph Wichmann Obituary
Joseph worked as an electronics inspector at Leeds & Northrup for 39 years, retiring in 1989. He enjoyed playing baseball and bowling, including being a member of three different leagues at one time. In his earlier years, he was a member of the Bethany Bible Fellowship Church in Hatfield and then attended the Calvary Bible Fellowship Church in Coopersburg. He liked to tinker around with woodworking and he was a chaplain for a prison ministry and the Allentown Ambassador baseball team.
Joseph is survived by his son, Steven J. (Lynn) Wichmann of Coopersburg; daughter, Deborah L. (Richard) Proctor of Hellertown; grandson, Michael L. Wile of Hellertown; son-in-law, Daniel E. Wile of Telford, PA; and two foster kids, Jim (Dottie) Bumgarner of Fl and Laurie (David) Beitel of Fl.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in 2017 by his loving wife of 67 years, Lillian C. (Davies) Wichmann; and sister, Miriam Dailey.
Professional Services are entrusted to Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, Inc. in Coopersburg. A Public Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 A.M., all at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 6782 N. Main St, Coopersburg, PA 18036. Interment will follow in Calvary Bible Fellowship Church Cemetery. In light of COVID-19, the family requests masks be worn. Donations may be made in Joseph's memory to Calvary Bible Fellowship Church.

I was a young girl at Bethany BF Church when the Wichmann's also attended. I thought so much of Joe and LIllian. May God comfort you at this time.
