Joyce E. Kemmerer, 79, of Center Valley, passed away Dec. 13 in Cedarbrook-Fountain Hill Annex. Born in Swampscott, Mass., she was a daughter of the late Wilfrid and Edith (Beacock) Hobden. She was the wife of John A. Kemmerer, with whom she celebrated 51 years of marriage last May. She was a member of Grace Moravian Church, Center Valley, where she played a very active role in all church functions. She was a loving wife, mother and Nana, who enjoyed cooking, knitting and doing ceramics. Survivors: Husband; sons, Dale Yothers of Lewis Center, Ohio, Darryl Yothers of Macungie; daughters, Sandra Mason of Berlin, Md., Chylia Hesch of Whitehall, Suellen Moser of Elkton, Md.; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; brother, Victor Hobden of Little Rock, Ark.; sisters, Carol Hobden of Amesbury, Mass., Donna Landry of Boxford, Mass.; nieces, nephews.
