Kenneth Kershner Obituary

Kenneth C. Kershner, 90, passed away on August 20, 2020 in Indialantic, Florida. He was the son of the late Paul L. and Jennie F. (Moll) Kershner. Before retiring to Florida, Ken was a lifelong resident of Allentown, graduating from Allentown High School in 1948. After graduation he served in the PA National Guard and went on to become a successful area businessman, founding Kershner's TV and Appliance with his father. Besides his business endeavors, he found time to serve many years as an officer of the Allentown Swimming & Boating Club. Ken greatly enjoyed and excelled at bowling before a back injury forced him to retire from the game.

Kenneth was predeceased by brothers Paul, William, Nathan, and Robert, and nephew, Paul. He is lovingly remembered by nephews William Jr. and Douglas and nieces Beverly Heintzelman, Gail Kershner-Heckman, and Debra Rios, and his lifelong friend, Sam Rauch.

Graveside service will be held on Friday July 16, 1 PM, at St. Marks Cemetery, 103 W. Lexington St., Allentown. A Celebration of Life will follow at Samuel Owens Restaurant in Coplay for all those who wish to join.
