L. David "Dave" Zenz

1943 - 2022

Louis David Zenz passed away on May 30, 2022 in Honolulu, HI at the age of 79. The eldest child of Louis D. and Catherine Zenz was born on May 29, 1943 in Allentown, PA. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1961 (Allentown, PA) and the University of Scranton in 1965 (Scranton, PA). While attending Scranton, Dave joined the US Navy and began active duty upon acquiring his BS degree. He furthered his education in the computer industry with the Navy and enjoyed a decades-long career in Information Technology. He was an avid, excellent swimmer and a passionate tax preparer. He was a member of the Boys Scouts in early childhood, ultimately achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.

He is survived by his wife, Danielle K. Zenz; brother Robert Zenz; sisters, Kathryn Molnar, Rosemary Matus; 3 nieces and 3 nephews; stepchildren, Luana Villanueva, Linda O'Reilly and Leslie Hutchins, Jr.; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Dave was pre-deceased by his parents, brother Richard Zenz, and a niece.
