Dear Mrs. Field, Audrey, Betsy, and Mary, So sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Mr. Field. When I visited my dad in Bethlehem a few days ago, he showed me his obituary that he saved for me to see. As I was dating Audrey in high school, what a pleasure to meet you all. You were very kind to me and I remember that deeply. When I worked on the track gang of the P.B.& N.E. Railroad Co. one summer, Mr. Field came by to see me as he was working outside. He was positive, inviting, and cordial. It was lovely to be with you when Audrey came up to Boston College to consider nursing school. It was lovely to spend time with you all on that visit too. May your hearts be eased knowing that Mr. Field is in the loving embrace of God and the Angels. Remember all your treasured moments. Love and blessings, MIchael Barnett, M. Div., M. Ed.

To Anita and Field family, I offer my condolences for the loss of Lew. He was a very warm, unassuming person that I enjoyed seeing during my career with BS. He was positive and optimistic ...and led every conversation with a smile... I am sure his impact on his family was the same... and will always be remembered.
