Wayne and Dona,
I have just found out about this 7 months later, no one told me, nor did Lori ever tell me she was sick, I am very sorry for your loss, I remeber back when I first came to Nazareth she welcomed me with open arms and we were great friends for a very long time. I spent a number of nights at the house just goofing off with her. She always made me smile when I needed that extra pick me up. I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful girl. My heart and prayers are always with you both

"GLORY FOR LORI"

I was Blessed to have met a young lady named Lori
Her heart was filled with God's Love and his Glory,

Even tho her time on earth was short
she was a fighter and soldier for Jesus,
She claimed her victory over sin and was saved
And mainly she knew who she was!

God took her home to heaven with Him
to finish her work there,
To pray for the saints and sinners
And for the Prisoners for whom she did care.

She sits with her heavenly King
Who has given her pardon,
For she was a Rose Bud that was picked
Out of God's very own garden!

She's at heaven's banquet table
Smiling down on planet Earth,
Throwing kisses to her parents
Loving them who gave her birth.

For my little spunky friend Lori
Just a little while we'll be apart,
God grant us the Love that you shared
For you'll always be in our heart!

Watching every moment of the year that you have been through has been a lesson in love, patience, tolerance and strength. I saw parents with wrentching hearts go through the motions of general life while giving such love, compassion and courage to Lori during her battle, & ignoring themselves. Her journey changed, her heart opened with love, her priorities were altared and you followed her every step with encouragement and deep love. Her sweet little voice was like a tiny bell that will be remember forever. God has blessed you both with many friends and I am honored to be one of them. My families prayers are with you.

Dear Wayne and Dona,
I returned to work today from a week away and was greeted by Russel, our Chaplain at Muhlenberg on my way in. He told told me Lori had gone home to God. I am sorry I could not have been there to celebrate Lori's life with you both.
I am so thankful that you have the Lord with you to help you through this unspeakable hurt.
Lori's smile was warm, her voice was soft and always had a sound of peace within it....hold on to the memories of a special person who touched you both. Lori seemed wise beyond her years and I sensed no fear in her for her future....she is a model to us all of grace in life and death here on earth.
I send my love and, if possible, a hug through this note to you both. I admire your strength in helping Lori and helping all of us who cared for her to see your faith in action. As a parent, my heart hurts for you both.
I will hold Lori in my heart and keep her sweet voice with me as I try to help others .... her voice will help me, of that I am sure.

Dear Wayne and Donna,

You didn't know the tears you cried fell to rest on angel's wings;
Bonding earthly sorrow with the joy that Heaven brings.
The Angel carries forth two tears and will not let them part,
Forever they are joined as one;
They blend to form a heart.
One tear is sorrow for your pain,
One tear is joy for Heaven's gain.
She is loved and will be greatly missed.
May God provide the strength and faith to endure. Know she is in good hands.

Our first encounter with Lori was when we moved in next door and she came over to greet us with a big smile and a willingness to babysit Jacob. She has always been so kind to him and gone out of her way to make him feel special even though he was so much younger than her. Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss, but her courage and faith through her illness touched many lives. We can only believe that our dear Lord had a special purpose in mind in calling her home so early. We pray you will find comfort in knowing you will one day see her face to face again, and she is now and forever completely healed! You are continually in our prayers and thoughts.

I did not personally know your daughter, however she was going through her cancer treatments at the same time as my cousin Randy Coyle. Randy told me about your daughter and how he had high hopes she would beat her battle with cancer. Randy would tell me how they would talk when they received treatments together. I just wanted you to know I am so sorry for your loss. I know Randy and Lori are now rejoicing in heaven. I pray that you find comfort in knowing she is in a better place and she is now at peace in heaven. God bless your family during this difficult time.
