Lucille M. Germanton

Germanton, Lucille M.Lucille M. Germanton, 89, of Allentown, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014, in Phoebe Home. She was the wife of the late Willard F. Germanton. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Sherwood and Hattie (Desch) Kuhns. She was a seamstress employed at various Lehigh Valley garment manufacturers. Lucille was an active member of Saint James United Church of Christ, life member of the former VFW Post #13 Ladies Auxiliary, and Allentown Senior Center. In recognition of her volunteerism, Allentown Mayor Joseph S. Dadonna awarded her the title "Outstanding Lehigh County Volunteer of the Year 2001". Survivors: son, Donald F. and wife, Cathy J., Bethlehem; daughter, Gail L. Gable and husband, Scott J., Ballietsville; granddaughters, Michele Beisel, Rhonda Muth, Heather Shields, Megan Rumbalski; great grandchildren, Derek and Kaitlyn Beisel, Evin and Fara Rumbalski, Sammy Shields. Brother, Richard, and sisters, Gladys Scheirer and Miriam Correll, preceded her in death. Services: 10:30 AM Tuesday, gravesite, Cedar Hill Memorial Park 1700 Airport Rd.
