Mae Elethorp Obituary

Elethorp, Mae L.Mae L. (Rice) Elethorp, 75, of Palm, passed away suddenly on February 5, 2015. She was the widow of James R. Elethorp and companion of Kenneth R. Ott with whom she resided. Born in Hellertown, she was a daughter of the late John and Esther (Wambold) Rice. She worked for over 35 years as a cashier at the former B & H Market, East Greenville. She was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her animals. Survivors: Companion; two children, Kim, wife of William Losquadro of Navarre, FL and Scott J. Elethorp and wife, Robin J. of Hereford; four siblings, Jeanette Schweitzer of Allentown, Dean Rice and wife, Loretta of Blue Bell, Carol Brink of Neshanic Station, NJ and Nancy Rice of Walnutport; and 3 grandchildren, Jessie Elethorp and Jacob and Luke Losquadro. She is predeceased by a twin sister, June and a brother, Kenneth. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Mann-Slonaker FH, (www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com) 222 Washington St., East Greenville. Burial follows in Hellertown Union Cemetery. Viewing 10-11 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions: To Stray Cat Blues, PO Box 8, Colmar, PA 18915.
