Manuel Fernandez Obituary
Manuel Fernandez, 53, of Bethlehem, died Friday. Manny retired from St. Lukes Hospital and was a well known DJ in the area. Survivors: Wife Lanette; sons Manuel, Jr. and Paul; siblings Gloria, Luisa, Delores, Sandra, Tomas and Jorge. Services: Memorial, 1 p.m. Thursday at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, where the family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. Contributions: To the funeral home. My sympathy To all the family, Manny was a good man, great DJ he was an original from back in the disco days.he did my daughters christing at Ray's Place. havent seen manny in years but always a friend.and he always smiled.

Wow, Manny its hard to hear that you are gone. I remember the Dj times at Casa Blanca formerly Rays Place. You were the Dj in town during those times and the best. I enjoyed your music & talent. My deepest sympathy to the family, i have known Manny, for many of years through my big brother Kevin McRae. I was deeply shock to hear about his passing last week! I will truly miss seeing him at my brother's pig roast this year! To the family, just know that Manny, is at peace now&will suffer know more! For you's all loved him but, "GOD" loved him best. For the "LORD" our "FATHER" never ever makes mistake's. Just know that he is in a better place now, where he can finally rest& be a peace, until you will meet again! And when the road gets rough, and you feel like you just can't go on, just remember all of the good times, that each one of ya had of him, to get you through the hard days ahead& believe me there will be some hard one's to come, just know that the "LORD" didno't bring us this far to leave us all now!!!!

I'm still having a hard time believing that you are gone. Time has a way of slipping away from us and leaving us with missed opportunities but it also leaves us with memories. You were always like the big brother I never had. My thoughts and prayers are with your boys, sisters and your brothers, nieces and nephews and your unborn grandchild. Manny was sooooooo happy and funny and he surely loved music which he impacted many people with and made everyone just smile. He was always so jolly and it reflected on everyone he was in contact with. He will be missed dearly and my condolences go out to his family, Wife Lanette and sons, I am very sorry for your loss. Manny will be with you guys wherever you are... always...no matter what :)

Manny was soooooo funny and nice and he sure loved music which he impacted everyone he came in contact with and made everyone happy with his happiness. He was never in a bad mood and always happy. OMG! I am blown away by this news. Manny was not only a friend, but a mentor when it came to DJ'ing. Someone who I could relate to, who understood where I was coming from musically.
