Marjorie R. Shoemaker, 88, formerly of Wescosville, died Jan. 30, 2021 in Phoebe Home. She was the wife of the late Carl W. Shoemaker. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Simons) Arndt. She was a graduate of Kutztown High School. Marjorie was a loving homemaker. She was a member of Longswamp U.C.C., where she sang on the choir for many years and a member of the Emmaus Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Marjorie is survived by her son, Lee C. Shoemaker and wife Marilyn of Wescosville; daughters, Rev. Lynn Shoemaker of Macungie and Sally wife of Keith Hosfeld of Wescosville; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Lee Arndt. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sanctuary at Haafsville, 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville, PA 18031.
