Dear Melissa,
No words can express how sorry I am to hear of the passing of your brother Mark. I know through all our talks that he meant the world to you. You have been such a great sister that has taken very good care of him. When he needed you, you were right by his side. Mark wouldn't want you to be sad, but happy thinking of all the great memories the two of you shared as brother and sister. I will never forget all our talks, (happy & sad) and just hope your heart is a bit lighter knowing that Mark is now at peace with your mom, both of them your Guardian Angel. Time will ease your sorrow, but you have a lifetime of great memories.
All my Love,
Patty Marshall

Words can't express the sadness I feel for Melissa and Joe right now. Only time will heal the wound. Mark was truly an inspiration to others. Know that he is in a better place now and he is watching over you. He will always be with you in your heart and in your memories.

Missy (as your Mother always called you) I am so sorry to hear of your brothers Marks passing. What a shock it was to read this! May you find peace in knowing he is safe in his Mother's arms once again. What a greeting he got in heaven when his Mother was there to greet him. May you find comfort in the memories that they both have left behind with you. You can honor their memory by being the best person you can be. God Bless you Missy.

Mark was an inspiration, even though I never met him in person. We became friends via Twitter, chatting about our beloved Phillies. His incisive wit and fighting spirit will live on in our memories.
