Martin P. Stephen
Martin P. Stephen, 82, of Telford, died in his residence Thursday, November 24, 2005. He was the husband of Bernice E. (Baumer) Stephen. Born in Lower Macungie Township, he was a son of the late Elmer E. and Clara L. (Lynn) Stephen. Martin was a retired Boy Scout executive serving Lehigh, Daniel Boone, Valley Forge and Baltimore area councils retiring from Bucks County B.S.A. in 1986. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army. Survivors: His wife; sons, Dennis J. of Boyertown and Thomas L. of Whitehall, Md.; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson. Services: at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Allentown. Contributions: May be made to the charity of ones choice.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Bernie, Tom and family. Marty was a generous collector and a fun person to be around at UES, RMS and Keystone. We are glad we had an opportunity to visit at Keystone in October. We will truly miss his smiling face and friendship.

Marty was one of the first people I met in the match hobby. I'll always remember his courtesy, generosity, and great sense of humor. He always impressed me as one who was thoroughly enjoying life. He will be missed.
