Mary E. Novak, 84, formerly of Bethlehem, died Sunday, June 10, 2007 in Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. She was born March 28, 1923 in Palmerton, the daughter of the late Francisco and Sara (Molina) Gryalba. She was the loving wife of Sigmond Novak Sr. They were married 51 years. Mary worked on the assembly line for Western Electric for 22 years. She was a member of Our Lords Ascension Polish National Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Sigmond Sr.; sons, Joseph Novak of Roanoke, Va., Sigmond Novak Jr. and his wife, Denise, of Bethlehem, Stephen Novak of Bethlehem; brothers, Peter Gryalba of New York City, N.Y., Michael Gryalba of Mishawaka, Ind.; brother-in-law, Paul Novak of Bethlehem; sister, Gloria Floria of Doylestown; sister-in-law, Jennie Martucci of Bethlehem; three grandchildren, Carlos, Justin and Maria Novak; a great-granddaughter, Nevaeh; numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Gryalba and her sister, Nana Hover. Services: A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. in Connell Funeral Home Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lords Ascension Polish National Catholic Church, 2105 Jennings St., Bethlehem, Pa. 18017. Visitation will be Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.Burial will be in Our Lords Ascension Polish National Catholic Cemetery, Whitehall, Pa.
