Matthew Tavares Obituary
Matthew A. Tavares, 24, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at St. Lukes Hospital & Health Network, Fountain Hill. Born in Fountain Hill on September 22, 1988 to Donna M. (Neith) Campbell and Manuel A. Tavares, both of Hellertown. Matthew loved TV, ice cream, playing with his trucks, Barney and Big Bird. Matthew is a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon and Miracle League Baseball. Survivors: In addition to his loving parents; step father: Glenn J. Campbell of Hellertown; sisters: Melissa L. (Clay F.) Howard of Whitehall, Megan G. Campbell of Hellertown; maternal grandmother: Anna Mae Neith of Hellertown; paternal grandparents: Antonio A. and Beatriz D. Tavares of Bethlehem. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 7 - 8:30 p.m., Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street - Hellertown. The service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home with the Reverend Lisa K. Borrell, Officiating. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
