Michael Issa Obituary
Michael A. Issa, 67, of Bethlehem, died Monday in the V.N.A. Hospice of St. Lukes, Saucon Valley. He was the husband of Souhiela (Tannous) Issa. They were married 44 years last August. Born in Al-Bayda, Syria, he was a son of the late Azar and Ghali (Najar) Issa. Michael was a member of St. George Orthodox Church, Allentown. He worked as a machine operator for Newly Weds Foods, Bethlehem, for nine years before retiring. Survivors: Wife; sons, Michael Issa Jr. of Bethlehem, George M. Issa and his wife, Salwa, of Maiden Creek Township; daughter, Ghada and her husband, Dr. Imad Abraham, of Allentown; grandchildren, Robert, Jessica and Alayna. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave. Call 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the church. The Issa family is being served by the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown. Contributions: St. George Orthodox Church Building Fund.

My sincere sympathy to the family of Mike(Mishka)Issa. I worked with Mike at Newly Weds foods for many years. He was a wonderful and pleasant man. He always spoke of his wonderful wife, sons and grandchild. He always said he wanted to visit Egypt. I pray he did get to see it, if not from earth perhaps now. Mike will be missed, he made an impression on his co-workers, I am so sorry for your loss.

I would like to express my sincere condolences on the passing of Michael. All of the Afif's family send their thoughts and prayers to the whole Issa and Tannous family at this difficult time.
As you know, it was a year ago to the day that my mother passed away, So I have some idea of what the family are going through. No comfort is quite enough to replace the loss.
