Michael, Oh Michael, Oh Michael, why have you left me. My BEST Friend for over 60 years. We called you "Pro" and some called you "Mick" because of your love for Mickey Mantle. My heart is broken. I am crying as I write this but I know you would have done the same for me. I called you every week or so to talk about the Konkrete Kids, the Yankees, the Phillies, Eagles and of course Wyoming U. I will miss our banter and hearing your giggle when I say something silly. I am grateful that you found Joyce and had 25 years of companionship and love. My prayer is that you will be with God Our Father and that I will meet you as I enter the Kingdom of Heaven and that we will both embrace each other for a long time with happiness and Joy. God bless you Michael and may you Rest In Peace! Your long time friend, Dickie (Richard Chimarys)

Joyce and family, I can’t begin to express the sadness I felt when Jared called. Mike was truly one of a kind. He had the heart and soul of one of the kindest people I’ve ever met in my lifetime. He was a good friend to me thru all the years I knew him, always gave good advice and of course was always there when you needed a shoulder to cry on.
We had really great times back in the day
Mikey, my heart and love go with you to the heavens beyond and to Joyce as well. We will all miss you terribly.bless you & one day we’ll meet again.

Mike (PRO) and I go all the way back to the University of Wyoming where we met in the dorm; Wyo Hall. He from PA and me from NJ and we meet there- funny how things work out in life. Our friendship was genuine and lasted through the years. We spoke from time to time on the phone about family and sports; always migrating to sports after we got caught up about kids, grandkids, jobs, etc. He was a " Wyoming Cowboy" to the end and an avid Philly fan too. Me too for the Pokes but I leaned towards the Broncos, AZ Cardinals and the hated Yankees. We always had a great time bantering back and forth. Mike loved Wyo but I am not sure he ever got used to the cold weather there; especially in Laramie in the winter. I remember how hot he kept the heat in his room at Wyo Hall. In those days the dorms did not have TVs in the rooms; there was one main TV in the gathering hall on the ground floor. Hence there were discussions (sometimes heated) about what to watch and the majority ruled. Mike and I always voted for sports shows. And we sat in the back and watched what was going on. He was one good man and at this age and time I wish I had seen more of him as adults. But as with most people we were separated by 2000 miles and our lives were playing out and time raced on. He will be missed big time by me. Rest in peace Mike.
