Michael Urdahl Obituary
He called Pennsylvania home but after being recruited to Dana College in Blair he made Nebraska his home, where he had a successful career in the telecommunications industry.
He is survived by his wife Jackie (McCullough), and three children and their spouses: Caitlin (Urdahl) and Steve Pollmann of Wauneta, NE; Chelsey (Urdahl) and Jacques Thibodeaux, of Loveland, CO; and Claire (Spahn) and Lluis Altimires, of Overland Park, KS. His grandchildren include Hayden and his wife Sarah, Landry and Teagan Pollmann and Max Altimires. He will also be missed by his brother, Jeff Harmon of West Conshohocken, and three sisters: Vicki (Urdahl) Ratz of Allentown, Dorette Harmon of Allentown, Toni Harmon of Harvard Illinois and his nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Leonard, his mother, Doris, stepdad Rod Harmon, and brother, Patrick.
In Mike's memory, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to support the Blair American Legion Baseball Program, 103 S 12th St, Blair, NE 68008.

As a young man My family moved into a new area and I was fortunate enough to live across the road from Mike. I was younger than Mike and had a passion for sports. Mike took to watching out for me and was someone I always admired and looked up to. I always tried to treat people with the same care that Mike treated me. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Mikes family members. I always think the measure of your life is what you leave behind. Mike left a legacy of kindness and mutual respect in my life.

My condolences to all family members and friends. Mike was a great athlete and I'm proud to have played several sports with, so sorry to hear about his passing. RIP Mike.

Jackie and Family, I am proud to say I shared , along with a close group of friends, an indescribable fellowship with Mike. A small high school meant a small group played most of the athletic events. We got knocked around a lot, but we got to play. I last saw him Christmas break the year I made a road trip with Mike and Wally as they returned to Dana College. I hope and pray your lifetime memories are as clear as mine.

Jackie and Family, I am proud to say I shared, along with a close group of high school friends an indescribable fellowship with Mike. A small high school meant the same guys played in most of the athletic events. We got knocked around a lot, but we got to play. I last saw Mike Christmas break of 1972 when I made a road trip back to Dana College with Mike and Wally. T'was a lifetime ago but some memories are easily recalled. I hope and pray your lifetime of family memories are always as clear as mine.

Mike was one of my favorite co-workers in my 38 years with Great Plains Communications. We were best friends and could talk about anything ... family, work, personal lives, etc. Jackie and the girls have my deepest condolences.

Mike and I were Dana football teammates. Everyone knew Mike and everyone liked him. He could make me laugh, and almost knocked me out with a cocobutt to the head!! I only have good memories and I'm sure the family will cherish their memories often. Deepest condolences to the family, Mike was one of the good guys.
