You were always busy and so alive. Loved you and your boys their presence in our home was
so delightful. The memories will always be there along with the course we took together at the Barnes Institute in Philly and then the cooking class. We had some wonderful times together. And you will always be part of the memories I have when our sons were growing up.With my love and affection, your friend and neighbor Sheila Ginsburg

Smart, sassy and classy. I was happy to get to know Myra and share in her appreciation of the arts. Heartfelt condolences to her family and other friends.

I knew Myra from my Morning Call days. What a nice person! She was always so outgoing and energetic. And she was so proud of her children. As for her knowledge about the Arts, there was no one better. A good writer, a wonderful individual. She will be missed.

At the age of 45 during the summer of 1987 Myra enrolled in Ornithology at Muhlenberg College. She was energetically interested and an enthusiastic participant that optimally enriched the class and regularly rewarded the instructor, then and whenever he had the privilege of being in her company or collaborating with her when she honored him by writing about his research on behalf of birds. Tales of her exploits on class field trips are still enhancing and enriching those same ornithology classes today, and Myra will continue to do so as long as I live to share her with others. My sincerest condolences to Myra's family, friends, and all those who care about her. I am an admiring and respectful friend, Dan (D. Klem, Jr., Sarkis Acopian Professor of Ornithology and Conservation Biology, Muhlenberg College)

To the family of Myra --
Never thought "it" would be so fast, but when you look back over it, you all will probably be glad Myra did not linger. I have been going over my many sheets of trips taken since our marriage, July 15, 1951 and Myra was involved in so many. Trips to wedding, Laurences', Andrew's in Denver, Myra and Erica's in Santa Fe. Alex's in Great Neck. Plus Myra and I took vacations together, to Blook Island, Sanibel, and then ski trips, one to Park City. Chance meeting on our bikes in Nantucket, and lots of local bike rides, (we all were ahead of our time with bicycles.) All of these memories. Myra introduced me to ABBA, on our morning walks for many years, and rides to Phila. for 1. Furs 2. Knitting store 3. Jack Kelmar for Jewelry, Oh what fun we had those days. Myra and the family played a big part in our lives. Kathy, of blessed memory, was your Mother's Helper. We celebrated Chanukah dinners together, I think we went to see the Harlem Globe Trotters as part of our Chanukah celebration. And the list could go on.
I will miss a dear friend who opened my eyes to Broadway shows, cultural events and so much more. I loved her dearly and she also helped me in BIG days of sadness. Love, Ferne

I was so sad to here of Myra's passing. She gave so much to her family, friends and community. I will miss her flare, knowlegdgable conversation and stories of her experiences. When I recall Myra I see the way she would throw out an opinion, tilt her head and laugh a little while she waited for your response. Her presence enlivened all.

Hard to believe this fabulous ball of fire has been dimmed. Even though weve been gone from The Valley for many years the memories we have will not be dimmed or forgotten. Loved watching her take Eric on the ride of his life!!!! love to the family from Hap and Marcia Wagner

I would like to offer my condolences to Myra's entire family. It was an honor to meet her and care for her as she prepared to journey to the next life, where she can find peace and happiness in God's world with no more pain. I know it is very hard for those left behind, however, she is no longer in pain. She fought till the very end, while maintaining her dignity and sense of humor. God Bless and keep you all.

It saddens me to find out Myra has passed. Sympathies to her family and friends. I met her a few times taking care of her. Her home was beautifully decorated with her artwork that was most interesting and charming. It was nice to know you Myra with some of your stories about your life. May you find peace and happiness in Gods world. My deepest condolences.

Myra was an enthusiastic, opinionated, outspoken advocate for theatre in the Lehigh Valley. She was a fixture of the arts community for my entire career, going on 20 years. She didn't always love your show, but she always loved theatre, and even when we disagreed, it was always clear that we were on the same side. She'll be missed.

Laurence, Andy, Alex, and Family,
Thinking of the unique and extraordinary Myra and all of the gifts and talents she possessed that made every moment with her special and memorable. The love and pride she had for each of you was enormous. Please know that I am thinking of all of you. May Myra's memory be eternal.
