Oliver P. Miller Jr.
Oliver P. Miller Jr., 84, of State Street, Alburtis, died May 20, 2004 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, where he had been a patient since May 19th. Born in Emmaus, he was a son of the late Stella (Reichert) and the late Oliver P. Miller Sr. He was the husband of Geraldine M. (Hess) Miller, who died on November 12, 2000. He was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Mertztown. He was an Army veteran of WW II. He was a production technician for Mack Trucks Inc., from 1965 until his retirement in 1983. Prior to that, he was a molder for the former Emmaus Foundry, 1946-65. He was a member of the Mercantile Club, Emmaus, and the Gilbertsville Fire Company, Gibertsville. Survivors: Daughters, Delores A. Hellwig and Sherry D. Croll of Mertztown, Pat L. Conrad of Alburtis; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by sons, Dennis P., in 1987 and Randy D., in 1998. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2004, Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis Street, Topton.
