Patrick Drummond

Patrick J. Drummond, 83, of Coopersburg passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 in his home.  He was the husband of Eileen T. (O'Brien) Drummond with whom he shared 58 years of loving marriage.  Born on July 24, 1934 in Dublin, Ireland, he was the son of the late Andrew and Brigid (Conroy) Drummond.  Patrick received his Associates Degree in mechanical engineering from L.C.C.C. He worked as a Tool and Die Maker for the U.S. Gauge in Sellersville for many years and as a Mech. Designer at Victaulic Co. until retiring.  He was a member of Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Bethlehem.  Patrick was proud of his Irish heritage and language and was a member of Daltai Na Gaeilge. His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren, who affectionately called him Daideo. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Eileen; sons Padraig and wife Corinne of Centre Hall, Edward and wife Doris of Collegeville, Kevin and wife Carol of Independence, OH, John and wife Sharon of New Ringgold; daughters Mary Eck of Center Valley, Karen Burke and husband Thomas of Fountain Hill; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; siblings, Bridie Murphy and husband Gerry, Eamonn and wife Anne, Peter and wife Bernie all of Ireland. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, PA  18015.  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill and also on Wednesday morning from 9:00 A.M. until time of service in the church.  Burial will take place in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown. A memorial tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
