95 years of age and former Allentown resident, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning May 24, 2018 while a resident at Sacred Heart Senior Living in Center Valley. He was the husband of Charlotte M. (Schlicher) Trumbower for 52 years. Born in Fountain Hill to the late Elizabeth Keen, he served with the US Marine Corps. in the Central Pacific during WWII. Ralph was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Allentown. He retired as a conductor for Conrail and the former Bethlehem Steel PBNE railroad, and retired as a courier for the Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and Eagles & Phillies fan. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered, forever missed by his wife Charlotte; daughters Sheri Lynn Gow and her husband Steve, Charlene Trumbower and her spouse Sharon Hanna; sons Rick Gehman and his wife Kathleen, Butch Trumbower; grandchildren Brian Trumbower, Laura Gehman, Cameron and Tia Gow; great grandchild Sage Trumbower; brother Robert Trumbower and loving Nieces; predeceased by grandson Christopher Trumbower, three brothers and one sister. Services will be 11:00 am Thursday May 31, 2018 in the Gilbert Funeral Home 444 Pershing Blvd Whitehall, PA 18052, where his family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 am. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Ralph may be made to your favorite charity
