Ralph Van Dever Obituary
Ralph Ted Van Dever, 65, of Nazareth, passed away Friday, June 19, 2009 in his home. Born on August 23, 1943 in Easton, he was a son of the late Ralph T. and Jennie (Stimeare) Vandever. Ted was employed as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Palmer Township retiring in 2000 after 28 years of service. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School and Moravian College, where he earned his masters degree. Ted served in the Coast Guard. Survivors: Ted is survived by his daughter, Shawnee R. Burke of Bethlehem; his aunt, Lucille Siegel of Easton. Services: Calling hours will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Palmer Township. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be offered at: www.morellofuneralhome.com. Contributions: Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Animal health and Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton, PA 18042 in memory of Ted.
