Survivors: Son, Christopher A. and his wife Melissa Fey of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Stephanie M. Deschoolmeester, Tracy L. Fey and her fiancé Christopher Duncan all of Allentown; brother, Robert and his wife Esther Fey of Allentown; sister, Doris and her husband Joseph Hines of Easton; grandchildren, Audrey, Erin and Callan Fey; dog and BEST friend Chloe; former wife, Kathryn Fey of Allentown.
Services: 1:30 P.M. Friday, June 18th in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Call 7:00 – 8:30 P.M. Thursday and 1:00 – 1:30 P.M. Friday in the funeral home. Entombment with military honors will be in the Grandview Mausoleum, Allentown. www.stephensfuneral.com.

Rich was already teaching when I started teaching in1990 in the “Dungeon” of the junior high building, turned middle school and currently the north campus of the high school. He always had a smile on his face and would laugh with the craziness of teaching 6th, 7th and 8th graders. I’m not sure where or when he got the nickname of Skip which the students changed to Skippy but I saw someone had a jar of Skippy peanut butter at his viewing which made me laugh. So sorry for the family’s loss of a truly good man. They don’t make teachers like that anymore.

It was a privilege and honor to have served with RDSN Fey aboard the USS MANLEY (DD 940) prior to her deployment to Greece in 1972. We enjoyed several liberties along with the other 'scope dopes' from CIC. He was every man then that his obituary described he was an adult. It was always a pleasure to meet with him while shopping at Sears and swap 'sea stories' RDSN Fey will always be a part of my good time memories.
Dick I wish you fair winds and a following seas. The Master is at the helm and steering you to your next duty station.

Rest In Peace Mr. Fey, you were always kind to me as a student in 1983. My Brother had you as Science teacher in 1982. My daughter had you as a science teacher in 2007 and she was fond of you as well. Thank you for your service as well.
