Robert J. Monberger Sr.

Robert J. Monberger Sr. 63, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away on Thursday December 15, 2022. Robert was the husband of Annette H. (Frisch) Monberger and they celebrated their 39th anniversary this past August. Born in Allentown he was a son of JoAnn (Connelly) Monberger of Allentown, and the late Paul L. "Nick" Monberger. Bob worked as a technician at Nestle Water for 12 years, and previously in product delivery for the former Hanka Pierogie Co, of Allentown for 24 years. Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grand father. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was a member of the Allentown Buck Dusters from 1977-2014. He coached baseball and soccer at the Holy Spirit school, and at the Midway Manor, and East Side Youth Center. Bob will be greatly missed by many loving family and friends. Surviving with his wife and mother are his children; Robert J. Jr. and wife Tina, and Jessica Monberger and fiancee Josh. His brother Paul M. and wife Anne Marie, and his sister Catherine I. wife of John Wachinski. His grandchildren are Franklin & Hailee. He was preceded in death by his brother Frank J. in 1988. Funeral services will be on Tuesday December 20, 2022 at 11:00 in the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown. Calling will be from 10:00-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Robert's memory to St. Luke's Hospice c/o the funeral home.
