Robert Mulhern Obituary
Robert Philip Mulhern, 25, of Bethlehem was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Monday, August 15, 2011. He was born in Bethlehem and is the son of Bill and Suzanne Mulhern. Rob graduated from SUNY Maritime College in January of 2009. After graduation he went to work for Cigars International. He enjoyed Cigars and was proud to work in their Purchasing Department. Rob will be remembered by family and friends as a great guy who loves his sister. He was a man with a good sense of humor who enjoyed traveling and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Rob also had a special place in his heart for all dogs, especially Sprocket, Tatum and Otis. He volunteered his time at the Center for Animal Health and Welfare throughout his high school years. Survivors: Rob will be lovingly remembered by his parents; his sister, Mary-Kate Mulhern; and his maternal grandmother Mary Sysak all of Bethlehem; his uncle, Robert and aunt, Trudy Wagner of Greenwich, CT and his aunt Marcella Mulhern of Lansdale, PA; and also additional members from the Mulhern, Sysak and Wagner families including Grandma Peg Sahaydak of Bethlehem. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Catherine Mulhern of Wilkes Barre, PA, his uncle, Frank Mulhern of Lansdale, PA and his maternal grandfather, Walter Sysak of Bethlehem, PA. Services: Arrangements have been entrusted to the Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 10 to 11 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Contributions: Memorial contributions may be made to Notre Dame of Bethlehem Porch Fund 1861 Catasauqua Road, Bethlehem, PA, 18018 and/or to the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, 1165 Island Park Rd. Dearest Sue, Bill and Mary-Kate,
Words can barely scratch the surface to give the comfort I long for you. So sad to hear of Robert's new angel status. May you feel loved and enveloped by our Blessed Mother and feel peace in knowing she also holds Robert til you can all be united again.
I will always smile remembering you all in my office and even once in Ocean City while we flew kites. Sending you extra special prayers and hugs..

Mulhern family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I also worked with Rob at CI for the past three years. He was always so helpful whenever I called him for assistance on something. I'll miss meeting up with him at least once a day at the water cooler. He'll be greatly missed by everyone here at CI.
