Robert T. Ritter Sr., 72, of Allentown, passed away December 17, 2004, in the V.N.A. Hospice at St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Dorothy J. (Moyer) Ritter. They were married for 52 years last August. Robert was employed as a motor repairman for Everson Electric, Allentown, until 1985. He then worked for the Good Shepherd Home Workshop. He was born in Allentown, a son of the late Robert P. and Arlene (Rutman) Ritter. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Sellersville. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, where he received the Good Conduct Medal. Robert was a longtime member of the Boy Scouts of America, also serving as Troop Leader for the Special Needs Boys Troop 125, Allentown. He was a member of the Sertoma Club of Allentown and past president of the Donald A. Workheiser Post AmVets Post 1 of Allentown. Survivors: Wife; sons, Robert T., husband of Suzanne Ritter Jr. of Allentown, Jeffrey A., husband of Linda Ritter of Wabash, Indiana; daughter, Diane M., wife of Charles Fehr of Slatington; brother, Kenneth Ritter of Allentown; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Timothy S. Ritter, and brothers, Roy and William. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Stephens Funeral Home Inc., 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown. Call 7:00-8:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Contributions: Bethel Baptist Church or the Sertoma Club of Allentown.
