Gwen and Family-So sorry for your loss. I worked in the front window at the treasury department. We interacted just about every day. He would bring the deposit down. Always happy and had a smile on his face. When I retired in 2020, he told me he couldn't wait to retire. Live every day to the fullest. R.I.P Bob

Gwen,Bryan and Families,
No words can express how we felt when we heard of Bob's passing. We still can't process it. Dan was fishing a couple Saturdays ago with Jim Cherney and friends and talked about getting a few of the guys together and Jim said I'll let Bob know he's always up for stuff like that.We have a lot of fond memories of Bob, like when we got on a connecting flight to Allentown coming back from vacation in the Dominican Republic and I hear this guy say look at that couple of drunks and there was Bob and Gwen. Bob with that smile, We laughed and laughed. Rest in Peace. You will truly be missed by many.............

Bob had been living his best life this year. We haven't shared a single conversation that didn't involve him saying how happy he was and how much he was loving his life. My heart is broken for his family. He will always have a special place in the story of my life, as someone who made life worth living, who I was excited to see, who I was proud to know. I will miss you dearly Bob.

At first, Bob and I didn´t know each other except for just acknowledging each other ( as everyone did ) every day on Hamilton Street at lunchtime - I being from Appel´s and everyone else being from the City or the County. Still not actually knowing Bob, we soon met up when we coincidentally would leave work at the same time and we would race our Jeeps out Linden Street trying to beat the red lights - almost every day for quite along time . . . . We finally got to meet in person when also coincidentally he was the guy that showed up to inspect two of my apartments - it made for a good laugh. I am very sad and my thoughts are surely with his family. Robert Bungerz, Allentown

I am so sorry Gwen and family to hear of Bob's passing. He was a good friend and coworker. I could always count on him for a laugh. On his last day at work he showed up in my office with a cigar and said, "when you retire, smoke it." I will miss seeing him at any function that had live music. God bless you.

To Bob's family & many friends-
I am so sorry and yes shocked to read that Bob passed away. He was so looking forward to retirement. Bob was a great guy, had a wonderful sense of humor and always, ALWAYS made me smile.
Bob and I shared the love of cycling. I remember seeing him and a group of friends on the canal trail a few years ago. There's Bob with a six pack in his bike bag and a huge smile on his face. He was my go-to guy at the City and always helped me sort out problems. Gosh, he'll be missed terribly by so many. Rest in peace, Bob. And ride on my friend, ride on.
