We heard about Bert yesterday. We are so sorry to hear the news. Although we haven't been around much, we always liked seeing her from time to time and enjoyed her great sense of humor. We last saw her at Gail's wedding. We're thinking about you and praying for the family.

Dear Children and Family,

Thank you for sharing our dearest "Bert" with us, the Upper Perkiomen BPW, and the UP Valley which she adopted.

She was our travel aide while attending conventions in Pittsburgh as she shared her family recollections and college memories with us.

She served our Club as President, hosted many meetings in her home while her children were still young, offered her wisdom & support to many projects, and lastly, she exemplified her true love of her children with her courage to overcome all obstacles.

Well, our Dear Lord had other plans on this earth; and now our Bert will be available to all of us to guide us in our moments of need.

May your memories and love you shared sustain you. Sincerely,

Verona Rodenberger, BPW Member & Friend

I always told Bert how much I envied her for her tremendous strength through her long battle. She was the bravest and strongest woman I have and will ever know. I will miss you much!
