Dear Monique, Sandy, Kent and Michelle (MiMi).
I am very sorry to hear about Ronald. The day before he died for some reason I thought of him and Monique.
I will never forget when you moved over the hill into Gerald Hunsicker's farm house. I found a good friend in Kent! It was some of the best years of my young life when I met you folks. Ronald was quite intimidating when I first saw this giant of a man. But I soon saw a man with a heart of gold. He truly was a gentle Giant! He treated me very kindly and you folks always made me feel welcome. I will always remember having to help Kent push the Rambler to kick start it. You guys introduced me to Heiter's Diner in Emmaus which was the 1st time I ever walked into and ate in a diner. I found Monique fascinating as she actually was born in and came over from France after the second world war. And it was obvious that Ronald adored her. I know he will be missed but as long as you say his name he will be with you. God Bless your family and do your best to move forward! I asked my son Jamie to look him up in heaven! We are deeply saddened by this news.

From France, we send all our thoughts and prayers to Ronald's love ones, particularly the Chambers family and his wife Monique.

I owe much to the Ebners family, which allowed me to discover the USA in the summer of 1984. I loved the sense of humor of Ronald and during that summer, we had such a good time of fun with Michelle and her parents.

At first he is impressive with his stature, but soon after you realize he is a great man with a heart as big as him. I remember the nickname he gave me that summer at the dinner table Robby, cut the bread.

I spent two months with them in Allentown / Ocean City, and for sure it was the best way for me to discover the American way of Life.

We kept in touch, and ten years later, we finally had a chance to spend more time together, because my family and I moved from France to Florida for seven years.

We send huge hugs and prayers especially to Michelle and Monique.

Ronald, you were a great man, and you will be missed.

Mr. Ebner was a true gentleman. When I first met him I was a little intimidated by his tough exterior. It didn't take me long, however, to realize that he had a heart of gold. All who had the privilege of knowing him are the better for it. He will be sorely missed. My prayers go out to his family at this very difficult time.

Although he came off sometimes as a loud and tough guy, he had a heart of gold. I've never known anyone who loved his wife and family as much as he. Rest in peace, you will be missed. With Love, from your ex-daughter in-law, Nancy

Monique and family,
So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. Him and Dick will be raising hell once again in a better place! I know how difficult it is when your husband passes away. Just take it day by day and remember all the wonderful memories you shared. Will miss the visits from our Florida friends.

My uncle, with a big heart. Always looked forward to him coming home for deer season. Will miss those days in the woods or at the diner having lunch and warming up.He deeply loved his family and was proud of his children and grandchildren. He would stop total strangers and show off pictures of his wife and brag about what a good catch he made. As well as his grandchildren and brag about them. Embarrassed me the first time he did it until I saw the pride and love he had for all. Will be truly missed
