Ronald P. Sandt, 61, of Hanover Township, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, May 25, 2009. He was the beloved husband of the late JoAnn (Fritchman) Sandt, who died in 1983. Born in Pen Argyl, he was a son of the late Clark P. and Mary T. (Karo) Sandt. He served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Schoenersville. He worked for 34 years as a maintenance mechanic for Mack Trucking Company until retiring in 2003. He was also a past member of the Raccoon Club, Northampton. Survivors: His daughter, Cheryl Getz of Annville; brother, Larry Sandt and his wife, JoAnn, of Hanover Township; grandson, Codey Getz. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. and on Friday morning from 10:30-11 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem.
