I knew Ruth through her service as a receptionist at Luther Crest, not realizing she was the mother of Brenda and Linda Schantz who attended Whitehall High School with my husband(Jerry Dougherty) and myself(Kathleen Walter Dougherty). I think my sister(Suzann Walter) knew Linda. My mother is a resident at the Health Center at Luther Crest where I visit regularly.

Your Mother was a very friendly and kind woman as a greeter of visitors.

We send our very sincere sympathy at this time and hope you have many fine memories to hold on to. God Bless.

Your mother, grandmother was a wonderful lady who touched many lives with her generosity and grace. I was proud to call her a friend, and she was an inspiration to me on strength and perserverance. I am sorry for the loss of this lady - she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. God bless and may His peace rest on you all.
