Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Scott's

Family

I have come to this page a hundred times in the last few days, not

knowing what I wanted to write. Each one of you have been in my prayers

in this last week. I know how much you all loved Scott and how much he

loved you all. Scott and I had a few talks and I know he only wanted

the best for everyone. Hannah will always know how much he loved all of

you and especially her. I thank God that the last memory I have a Scott

is a Happy one with Hannah singing Happy Birthday to her Daddy with a

candle lit on a cupcake. The smile on his face said more than any words

could have. He was truely a wonderful Daddy to Hannah and she will

always know that. He may be gone to a better place, but he will live in

her. May God give you all peace and comfort during this time. Beverly

When I heard about Scotties passing on my thoughts went to his younger years....I recalled a sweet young spirit of a boy. Years pass by so fast. I moved across the country so I didn't get to know him as a man. But, with all these beautiful words I'm reading about Scottie the man I am touched deeply! May our Lord God Almighty Bless you Scottie and all your family members. Peace be with you "Quier Family"

Quier Family & Friends,

We hardly knew ye, but did know of Scott's love for all Family and Friends. All he ever cared about was you who read this, but mostly his beloved Hannah and her Mother Allison. Although he was a very big man, physically, I still don't know how his heart fit inside his body. Great person who I know God will Bless, and now keep him safe forever. Sincerely,

Uncle Scott I want to thank you for all the motivation you gave me throughout my life. We will never ever forget you. We miss you already! Now there is no one to blow the whistle and call a time out now. We will always remember you for your humor and the way you always tried to see the good in everything and everyone. Give Gram and Uncle Ralph a couple kisses for us. You will always be in our hearts. Love you Uncle Chumpy.

It seemed like time stood still for a moment and I felt like my own heart had stopped...I was truly brought to my knees hearing the news about Scott. As I sit here trying to find the words to say, I am remembering so many things...how he would take up the whole room when he walked in...I remember his strength and his magical smile...how he always won whatever game we were playing...even playing cards with his mom...how he called his sister Jeanne "Bean" and how he called me "Pattilabell" and "Patticakes". I'm reminded of so many memories of the history we shared over the years....I know he was proud to be the father of Hannah and he loved his sisters and brothers more than they could know. He will be long remembered by many and he will forever hold a piece of my heart. I was blessed to have known him.

The loss of Scott is beyond comprehension, but only through the grace of God is it somewhat bearable. For those who knew him as Scottyboy---May God's peace which surpasses all understanding guard all our hearts and bring us comfort.
