Shawn Christman Obituary
Shawn P. Christman, 27, of Slatington, formerly of Scranton, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Elizabeth M. (Schroeder) Christman. They celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary last June. Born in Scranton, he was a son of Robert Christman of Waymart and Diane (Simmons) Barro of Waymart. Shawn was a computer consultant for APT Inc., Fogelsville, and formerly was a computer technician for TR Associates, Archbald. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Allentown, and formerly was a member of St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Dunmore. Survivors: Wife; children, Connor E. and Abigail R.; parents; stepmother, Nancy Christman; stepfather, Michael Barro; brother, Donald and his wife Kim of Waymart; sister, Colleen, wife of Steve Richner of Forest City; nieces, nephews. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, ODonnell Funeral Home, 908 Hanover Ave., Allentown. Call noon to 2 p.m. Saturday. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the childrens scholarship fund.

Although Shawn only mostly knew me as "NutMutt" in a like-minded IRC channel (#10100) of interest, he would ALWAYS help me with any information I required. Always making great jokes and living things up. He will be sorely missed and my deepest condolences to his family and friends...

Shawn was an employee of TR Associates and he would come to our law office to help us with some of our computer problems. Shawn was a very smart, kind and low-keyed person. He showed us pictures of his beloved children. We were so sorry to see him move to Allentown. And now, we are astonished he is gone. God bless him and his family. We really considered him a friend.

Shawn was so loved by us all at TR Associates. He was a very smart and sweet young man , I called my friend .His loss is overwhelming to us and his beautiful family.We talked so many times about our kids and our Eagles and he spoke with so much pride. He'll be sorely missed with love.
