Kinda funny short story, my memory ain't what it used to be, so, really short.
I seem to remember a few years back, my wife or I had some kind of health issue and we "called Seth", a mutual friend who is a Doctor, and talked for a good 20 minutes or so before finding that we we actually speaking with Steve. We all giggled on that one!
Steve taught me Winstep skinning, and we were good friends for quite a few years.
I will miss you, Steve. I'm sorry for not doing better at staying in touch. Rest well, my friend.

I only found out about Steve's passing today when Seth Johnston told me about it via IM.
Steve (aka WebGizmos) was a prolific Winstep skinner for many years and we used to talk quite a bit back in the time. I considered him a friend (and I think he did the same regarding me), but, as so many times it happens, life eventually got in the way and I ended up losing contact with him (although he sometimes still left funny comments on my Facebook page lol).
It was with shock and great sadness that I learned about his passing.
I hope you are well, my friend, wherever you are now. RIP Steve, I will remember you with fondness.
My deepest condolences to Steve `s family too, although nearly a year late.
Seth Johnston, M.D.

First, let me offer my condolences to his family. Steve was a good man. He loved his music, and he contributed as a skinner of the Windows OS to Wincustomize.com where I met him. He attained Master Skinner rank. His work adorns my computer desktop, making it a better place. May he be free of the pain which deviled him, ceaselessly. Bless you, Steve.

I knew Steve for years as his palliative care nurse practitioner. Always had wry humor, probably the best resource ever to find any TV show or movie -- his collection on multiple hard drives was unbelievable. May you rest in peace, my friend. Feed the deer in Heaven. No more scooter, no more pain.

My deepest condolences to Steve `s family. We were longtime friends. We played a little league against each other and we went to high school together. I hadn´t seen him in a while. God bless you brother. Rest in peace. Now you don´t have to worry about anything.

Only met Steve recently, at his apartment complex. He was always friendly. He would take apples with him on his scooter over to feed the deer.
He will be missed. God Bless.

I am so sorry to find this after not seeing him on his Facebook account for a while. I know he is finally free of his pain, as he wanted to be for so long. I would say "rest" in peace, but I sense Stephen is in blissful peace, but not likely resting! Thanks for the wonderful decade of friendship! Love and Peace, my friend!
