Taras, was such a beautiful soul. I've only known you for less than 2 years. Your smile expressed volumes when you spoke of your wife and family. You will be missed sorely in our church. Thank you for your Service Sir. Memory Eternal Taras..

So many memories ... Tara's welcoming me (Karen) to the church and choir in Sept. 1973. His photographs of New Year's Eve parties at our home. Working on flooring and repairs at Fr. Bazyl's home and hanging icons at Assumption Virgin Mary UOC with Jim. His phone calls to check in just making sure we were okay. Terry's support along with Rosie when our parents died. The fairly recent time he came up to the choir to sing bass with his son Greg. A truly loving Christian man who lived his faith and taught it to his children, granddaughters and grandsons as best he could.
We are blessed to have called him 'friend'. Memory Eternal!

You are now relieved from your post. You have made your final march down the lonely dusty trail. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow veteran. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.

Terry's death signals the end of a very special era in our Church's life. He played such an integral role in so very many aspects of our lives through his love and devotion for his faith. He worked hard physically for our church, but even more important, he was a deeply spiritual man. Terry didn't miss Divine Liturgy on Sundays and he came to services on holy days as well. Recently he managed to write a beautiful icon of Saint Michael the Archangel.
Surely he heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
He is at rest among the saints in a place of brightness where there is no more sickness, sorrow, or pain. Rest in God's arms, dear Friend, until we meet again. Heaven's choir just acquired another terrific bass voice. Memory eternal!
