Theron R. Held, 84, of Coopersburg, died June 10, 2005, at home. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he was the son of the late Claude and Beatrice (Hoffman) Held. He was the husband of the late Edna M. DeLong Held, who passed away in November of 2003. He was a machinist for Mack Trucks Inc. for 35 years before retiring in 1976. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: Sons, Robert and wife Laura, and James and Jack, all of Coopersburg, Thomas of Macungie, Richard and wife Sally of Center Valley; daughters, Marilyn Geist and husband William in South Carolina, Patricia Price in New York; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, K.V. Knopp Funeral Home Inc., 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown, Call 9:30 a.m. until time of service Wednesday in the funeral home. Contributions: In his name, to the Sacred Heart Visiting Nurses and Hospice Association, 2268 S. 12th St., 4th Floor, Allentown 18103.

To All the Held Families: Please except our sincere sympathy. We are sorry we could not attend the service. It was impossible for us to get off from work.You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Your dad will be missed by us and all that knew him.
