Thomas DeCrosta Obituary

Thomas W. DeCrosta, 95, a lifelong resident of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at Country Meadows of Bethlehem. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Peter and Ethel (Korpics) DeCrosta. He was the husband of Lorraine (Michael) A. DeCrosta. They celebrated 70 years of marriage this past August 26th. Thomas received his BA and Master's degree from Lehigh University. He was a teacher in the Bethlehem School District for 44 years, teaching at NE Jr. High School, Liberty High School, and Freedom High School. He served his country in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Thomas was a quiet and proud man who had a tremendous love for his family, faith, and his country.

He was lovingly remembered by his wife Lorraine, sons, Thomas W. DeCrosta Jr. and wife Diane of Reston, VA, Scott DeCrosta and wife Rebekah of Cypress, TX, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Katharine DeCrosta. He was predeceased by a son, Dr. Jeffrey DeCrosta, and brothers, Wallace DeCrosta, Peter DeCrosta, and Matthew DeCrosta.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The family will be hosting a Memorial Dinner at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 332 N. Lauderdale St. Memphis, TN 38105.

Condolences are kindly offered to the family of Mr. Thomas W. DeCrosta on behalf of Bethlehem's Liberty High School Class of 1965. Mr. DeCrosta served as our Senior Class Advisor and was a wonderful mentor as he offered guidance and support to our class. We also acknowledge his service to our country having served in the United States Navy during World War II.
