I first met Tommy when I worked for a Plumber in Wescosville,
We always had some good laughs when he worked at Weinstein.

I worked with Tom for several years back in the decade of the 80s. We had a lot of good times at work and outside of work. We once went deer hunting in Berks county. While I was watching the side of the mountain I heard a rifle shot below me and then I heard Tom yell (I got one). I began to walk down to Tom only to see him dragging a huge tree branch
behind him as if it were a deer. It was hilarious. I remember going to Leaser lake with Tom to night fish. We went in his open top jeep. When
we left to return home, we encountered a rain and hail storm like I never saw in my life. Tom drove that jeep through that storm as if it was a perfectly clear night. To this day I don't know how he could even see the road in front of us. There was a measurable amount of water on the floor of his jeep along with the hail that fell with it. I will never forget how well Tom could draw. He once had gone scuba diving off a boat he said was called the Wahoo. He didn't have a camera along on the excursion, but to give me a picture of the rough ordeal he sketched me a picture of the boat pitched wildly to one side, with waves pounding against the side of the boat, as other divers held on for dear life. What an amazing depiction of a scary situation Tom was able to create with a pencil, a sketch pad, and one of his great talents. So glad I had the time I was able to share with Tom. To the Grogg family. Please accept our sincere sympathy at this time. The Bill Waelchli family. God Bless All.

I remember all the fun we had in high school years caveing all the small caves around kutztown PA and some really big ones In West Virginia. The evenings around the camp fire were the best filled with stories and beer. Also becoming a plumber I would see Tom when he worked at Weinstein Supply. I was surprised to hear Tom was a Civil War Reinactor I too did some and have a full uniform and leathers. But like that war brothers often ended up on opposite sides. I am sure heaven will be brighter with his stories. Gods speed Tom!

To Michele and all the Grogg families, I am so sorry for your lose. Sending Prayers to you and your Family. I still work at Weinstein Sply. where I met up with Tom. Yes we did a lot of wacky things together. Did plumbing jobs together. We called Tom from our Florida home to get together but it did not happen. We called each other Blood and we would say Chucky told me to call you. Tom dig Chucky the doll and many more great things in LIFE. All can say I am going to really miss you Blood. He really loved the Civil War era. Just behave in Heaven.

So sorry to hear this, Tom was my foreman and friend at K&P for many years. If ever there was a quote that fit a person, that was Tom. The crazy things we did together, the stories and memories we made will never end. My sincere condolences to the family, people like Tom do not come often in this world. RIP my friend.
