Thomas Pelzer

1937 - 2018

Thomas Pelzer, 81, of Macungie, passed away September 6, 2018 in the St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Carole A. (Sweet) Pelzer. Thomas was a son of the late Lawrence Pelzer and Mildred (Flannigan) Pelzer. He was born on June 17, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA. Thomas was a graduate of Germantown High School Class of 1955. Thomas served in the Army from 1958 to 1962 during the Berlin Crisis. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Thomas loved spending time at the shore in Sea Isle City, NJ. He was a tractor trailer driver for A&P for over 20 years before retiring in 1999. He serviced stores in PA and NJ. Thomas was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Emmaus. Survivors: Children: David W. and his wife Colleen of Skippack, Ruth A. Dulaney and her husband Patrick of Allentown and Lauren G. Pelzer of Dresher PA. Grandchildren: Kylie, Kelly, Kristen, Logan, and Joshua. Sister: Jane B. Smith of Hatboro, PA.
