Vaselly Alimov Obituary
Survivors include his brother and primary caregiver: Victor Alimov of Englewood, Florida; a sister: Sophia Frederick of Whitehall, Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother: Paraska Alimov in 2006.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 18th 9-10AM with a Service at 10AM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Whitehall.

Lived close and went to school with Vaselly. Just saw the obit or would have attended the services yesterday. Vaselly was always a perfect gentleman and special friend beginning at Garfield elementary school and his home on N. 6th Street. God bless his family and loved ones. A special hello to Sophie.

Sophie and Victor, you may not remember me, but I loved your brother and family very much when he and I were teenagers. I was deeply saddened to read in the Dieruff newsletter that he had passed away. We lost touch years ago, but I always wondered what kind of a man he became, and hoped that he had a good life. Please accept my sincere sympathies for your loss. I hope you will take comfort in your love for him and each other. Please believe me that, with time, the balance of sorrow and joy will reset, and you will once again be able to think and talk of Vas with happiness and laughter. You are all in my prayers.

Sophia, I'm sorry for your loss. I remember both of you from Central Jr High. Seems like you were always together. He looked after you, I guess. Over the years my mother Evdokija would keep me and my sister Tatiana updated on Vaselly. What a good smart man he was. Susan Chachil
