William Busolits

William J. Busolits
William J. Busolits, 75, of Catasauqua, died May 2 at home. He was married to the late Anna (Rushatz) Busolits. He was an investigator for Equifax of Allentown for many years before retiring in 1990 and was currently an investigator for Brosky Insurance Agency, Catasauqua. Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Joseph and Theresa (Lederer) Busolits. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Catasauqua. He served as a corporal in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 454, Northampton, and the stage designer for their minstrels. He was a member of Coplay American Legion Post 426 and the American Club of Coplay. Active in community events, he was a stage designer for the Miss America Pagent, Lehigh Valley, and a bingo caller for St. Marys Church, St. Peters Church, the Catholic War Veterans, Coplay American Legion and the Coplay Fire Company. Survivors: Sons, William R. and wife Ruth Ann, and Stephen J., all of Catasauqua; daughters, Rita Ann Mitchell of Waldorf, Md., Mary Ann Shelton of Sacramento, Calif., Barbara Ann, wife of Richard Gower of Catasauqua; brothers, Joseph of Allentown, Richard of Coplay; sisters, Marie of Coplay, Theresa Scozzafava of Atlantic City, N.J.; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Services: 9:15 a.m. Friday, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay. Mass, 10 a.m. Friday in the church. Call 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
