To Bill's family, I'm sorry that I just learned of Billy's passing. I attended St. Elizabeth's elementary school with Bill in the early 1970s and we spent a fair amount of time together. I taught me a lot about sports, especially basketball which we often played for hours in his backyard. Later in life, I would make sales calls to his business in West Allentown and am now greatly saddened to hear of his passing. He was a good man with a sunny attitude and I always enjoyed being around him. I will miss you Billy Fasching. Rest in Peace brother.

Kathy and family,
I just learned today that Billy passed away. I was at my nieces wedding shower and spoke with an alum from ACCHS. I am so sorry for your loss and pray that your family find peace in his memories. Bill had enough charm and character to light up a whole city but made you feel like you were the only one in the room when he spoke with you.
May he Rest In Peace and God bless you all!

I was present at Billy's memorial, however I arrived just as the service began and left before having the opportunity to talk with anyone. Some thoughts came together afterward, so I'll share them here.
I have many memories of Billy from St. Elizabeth's elementary school, and even though that was oh-so long ago, and our paths crossed just a dozen or so times after that, memories of him from that touchstone time of life are still easy to access. Our tiny class of 13 girls and 9 boys offered everyone a pretty good knowledge of each other's personalities, and the way I recall it, Billy was the alpha of our pack. Overall we were a good hearted bunch of kids, and Billy with his natural charisma, quick mind, friendly confidence, boundless drive for (mostly) harmless shenanigans, and his love of a good riff, were the source of years of entertainment and laughter that still easily conjures a smile.
Krysti and Billy, as I listened to your honest and loving tributes to your dad, I could hear some of his qualities in each of you. I wish strength and peace for you now and far into the future.
Kathy, we never met, but I recall seeing you and Billy together at the wedding of mutual friends in the mid-1980s. The way you looked at one another showed that your bond was deep and true. Sincere and compassionate thoughts to you in this time of your life.
Nan, you are as lovely and authentic as I remember. I appreciate and embrace the sentiments you expressed in your gentle tribute to Billy's legacy. I'm sorry to have missed the opportunity to see you on Saturday. Sending you big love now and always. Please pass along the same to your mom.
Prayers of compassion also for Joe, Karen, and for all family and friends who are affected by Billy's passing.

Kathy and all of Bills family,
I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Bills passing. We went to ACCHS together and I remember his amazing smile and super personality. He always had something nice to say to everyone. I have many memories of his charming the teachers to get out of a situation, like not having his homework done. You two made such a great couple.
Life moves by quickly and I did not see either of you after high school. My husband was a customer at Allen Supply and realized I went to school with Billy. We never crossed paths again and I am sad for that. I hope your fond memories and your family can help you through this most difficult time.Know that Bill was loved by so many people. He will now be looking down on us. Thinking of his charming smile will help me through my roughest days.

To the entire Fasching family
I would like to deeply express my condolences with the passing of Billy or as we would call him our little drummer "Billy Boy". I received a call yesterday from Craig another member of the Kal's Kid's and later the Young Ideas informing me that the services were yesterday. I was out of town on business and did not return till yesterday evening. If I would have known earlier I would surly have left to be back in Allentown for his service. Spending the times with Billy and his brother Tony and cousin Lenny and Craig were memories of times that are so precious and we all grew up as if we were all brothers. As I am typing I can remember one time stands out the most of how special Billy was. It was when we all played for the opening of the Plaza Movie theater at the Whitehall Mall we all were so excited and scared since this was a very big deal for us....when Billy looked over to us all and said there is nothing to worry about we can do this, with his bright blonde hair sporting his natural Beatles Hair cut. He was never one to complain or say no to anyone and when you came in contact with him at any time he always expressed this with his truly genuine and natural smile. He truly was one of a kind and touched many hearts. I will miss him deeply God Bless you Billy for Now you will be in your new journey and be with your Grammy, Father, and brother Tony forming a new band in heaven

So extremely saddened and sorry for your loss. He was a great man. Very fond memories we will always remember. Infectious smile every time I've ever been in his presence. Loved coming in for counter days with my pops Dale, Tree, Brady, Chad and the rest of the guys, in the R&S Hoffman plumbing days. Atlantic City Trips. The world lost a great man. Our deepest condolences.

Dear Kathy, Billy, & Krysti,
Hearing about Bill's passing has made me reflect back on happier times. I babysat quite a bit during my teen years, especially at your house on Susquehanna Street. I have such fond memories of those times, and the times you took me along on vacations to the beach. I can remember one time in which I was sitting in the back of the car with Billy, Bill was driving, and Kathy was in the front. Paradise By The Dashboard Light by Meatloaf was playing in the car, and Billy was "air drumming" to it, very dramatically. I also remember being out on a boat, cruising across the water, enjoying my time with all of you.
Kathy, I will always treasure the great talks we've had over the years. You were and always will be a very special person to me. My fellow Pisces. ❤
God bless all of you, and please know that you're in my thoughts & prayers. May the happy memories help to ease your grief.
Deepest sympathy & love,
Angie (Kuhns) Davis

Just recently got reunited by being his Uber driver. I didn't know he would be gone so soon.
Kathy, Krysti and Billy, I am so sorry. I know he loved you all!

Kathy,
So sorry to hear of Billy's passing. We went to St Elizabeth together and then on to Central. He was always so friendly and had a smile that lit up his whole face. What a small world that he loved fishing in the Florida Keys, our favorite past time in Islamorada. Wish I would have run into you down there! Take care and may God give you and your family strength at this difficult time!
