William W. Lerch
William W. Lerch, 62, of Coplay, died Friday, June 10, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Deborah L. (Trobetsky) Lerch. The couple celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary last October 27. Born in Allentown, March 31, 1949, William was the son of the late Kenneth H. Sr. and Caroline (Weber) Lerch. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army as an MP during the Vietnam War era. He was stationed in Germany. He was a former member of the Allen O. Delke American Legion Post # 16, Slatington. William retired in March from the Dual Temp Company where he worked for the last 35 years. Prior to that, he was employed at Allentown Supply Co. William Lerch spent the last year enjoying his retirement years with his wife and grandchildren. He was an avid motorcyclist purchasing a Harley Davidson last July. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being a proud grandfather; they meant the world to him. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Survivors: In addition to his wife; children, Greg D. Lerch of Allentown, Tracy L. Carl and her husband Jason of Breinigsville; sister, Carol of Bethlehem; granddaughters, Emily and Ashley; predeceased by a brother, Kenneth H.
