I just heard about "Little Billy Schafer's) passing. My memories go way back to our years in the "Terrace". When I think of Billy, I picure him dancing with his sister. We were all impressed with how great they could dance. At lot of years have passed since then. I am glad to read that many people thought highly of him. He came from a good family. I will always hold that picture of him and his sister. God Bless him and keep his family in his arms.

Bernie, Jen, Heather and Addy,
I am so saddened to hear about the passing of your husband and father. Bernie, I still remember as a young child coming down to your house and sit on the front step with you and Bill. He was always so kind and friendly. I always wished that I would have been apart of your family for the love I saw in your family was amazing. It is very hard in losing a father especially when you are a Daddy's girl. It was evident that he was a wonderful father and husband. I feel so blessed in having had the opportunity to have known him. I'm sure my Pop welcomed him into to Heaven and was glad to have someone from the neighborhood. He is at peace and you will see him again. Praying for comfort.

RIP COUSIN BILLY. My thoughts, hugs, prayers are with Bernie and the girls and all family. So wishing I could be there to say my goodbyes but Susie promised to say goodbye for me. I know my Dad, Tippy, was very close to him and if my memory serves me right, I remember when Billy and Bernie were married. I think dad was in the wedding and Susie too. I remember going to the house to celebrate his daughters baptisms and spending many times at the home near keck park. My hugs to Auntie Dot and all his siblings - so sad to loose a cousin!!!!!!
