Yolanda Nagy Weider passed away on the morning of Saturday, November17, 2012, after a long struggle with heart disease. She was 75. Born in Allentown, PA in 1937, she attended William Allen High School. In 1953 she met Eugene Weider while working at the Good Shephard Home in Allentown. They married in 1954. Yolanda was active in the Salisbury Township Fire Company #1 Ladies Auxiliary, serving as president for two years and as alarm operator for many years. A nature enthusiast, Yolanda spent much of her time gardening, bird watching and caring for injured wildlife at her home in Salisbury Township. Later, moving to the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown,Yolanda was very active in the community spending countless hours as an Adult Volunteer for Elizabethtown DeMolay and various other organizations. She also helped develop the Masonic Villages in-house television station. Survivors: She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Eugene; her daughter, Deborah Weider Kumar; her grandchildren, Rakesh Kumar, Amit Kumar, Brian Weider, and Jason Weider; and her great-granddaughter, Vrinda Kumar.
