ROBERT KENNEY Jr.

ROBERT KENNEY JR. 06/20/1945 - 11/06/2025 Robert F. "Bob" Kenney Jr. went to be with our Lord and Savior, Thursday, November 6, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. He was 80 years old. He was born in New Martinsville, W.V., on June 20, 1945, to Robert and Edith D. Loveall Kenney of Antioch, Ohio. He graduated from River High School in 1963. Bob married Carol Ann Stoehr on April 18, 1965, and shared a life with her for 57 years until her death in 2022. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran proudly serving his country from 1966 to 1968. He was a longtime employee of Kardex, then the WV Department of Corrections until he retired in 2006. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carol, his sister, Sandy Resecker, and brother, Gene Kenney. He is survived by his son, Terry (Becky) Kenney; two grandsons, Andrew Kenney, and Jacob Anderson; siblings, Joyce Stoller, Linda (Fred) Stoehr, Kathy (Jim) Eckleberry, Connie (Kevin) Norris, Gary (Melynda) Kenney, David Kenney, Timothy (Shirley) Kenney, and William (Michelle) Kenney; sister-in-law, Tammy Kenney, brother-in-law, Bob (Denise) Stoehr; numerous nieces and nephews; and a very special lady in his life Priscilla Knight. Funeral service was 2 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, W.V., with John Keith officiating. Burial followed in Antioch Cemetery, Antioch.
